Welcome to AGGA Islamic Centre

Agga Islamic Center was established in April 19th 2019 as non-profit making institute that aims at teaching, learning and worshiping in accordance with the Quranic and prophetic teachings. The center aims to be an exemplary platform for the propagation and dissemination of Islamic teachings inspired by faith and Islamic values for the benefit of the ummah.
The founder’s believe in teaching/learning Islamic values and also believe in peaceful coexistence which are virtues of every true Muslim, the Board solely seeks the pleasure of Almighty Allah alone, hence, the center is named after the beloved late mother “Agga” as a form of “Waqaf” to earn unending reward for her and a blessing to the founder and the Muslim ummah in general. The Centre has two (2) main components which are operated by a five-member Board of trustee. These components include a school and a mosque, the school provides a conducive learning environment for men and women, the young and the old, because Islam requires that its followers conduct every aspect of their lives according to its teachings. On the other hand, the mosque is for the performance of the khamsu salawat and Jummat prayers which began on the day of the opening ceremony.

Furthermore, the Center is aimed at the improvement of social relations for the peaceful coexistence of the ummah by organizing Islamic lectures, seminars and Da’awah programmes.
